I've just bought a 2015 VRS Hatchback and the nearside rear door (UK) doesn't open from the inside, which is rather frustrating. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Is the child lock physically set on the door, that disables the interior door handle?

 

Check by opening the door and turning the child lock setting device using the key.
