Does the Superb IV have ceiling mounted interior lights that operate when the door opens?

I don’t have a sunroof, but all I see is the footwell lights lighting up, but not the reading lights.

Is this normal?

If it's like every other car I've been in, the courtesy lights have an Off position as well as Door(s) Open, and On. 

I struggled to find the switch in the dark.

I have now read the manual, and have found the switch I need to use.

No idea why it was not turned on before, but as the nights are drawing in, I need the lights to work.

Sorted this morning, in daylight, where it was much easier to see the buttons.

You're not the only one dont worry. We get most of our Superb's coming in at work with "rear interior lights stuck on" meaning someone has pressed the button on the front panel and not realized it. 

It's a ridiculous system, there are far too many buttons and the light output from the bulbs is terrible.
