Map upgrade problem

Hi guys I'm having so much trouble trying to upgrade my maps on my Columbus satnav from a 2017 kodiaq ,I've downloaded a file from the skoda portal site but the satnav wont except it,it searches but says no file going, is the radio named mi2b ??

Are you using a Mac perhaps? 
as extra files are left on the SD card which the Skoda system doesn’t like. 
If using a pc. If the downloaded files from the update portal are unzipped to a 32gb SD card that’s formatted fat 32 you shouldn’t have any problems.

Same as Kenny R said above. In fact I didn't unzip my file and it still worked. Also, you don't have to use an SD card, it also works with a flash drive plugged into your USB port.

The first time I updated the maps it worked seamlessly, but on the second occasion some sort of corruption  must have happened when downloading from the Portal, so I had to delete the file and download it again.

 

Yes, it is MIB2 that you need.

Does the myPOIs get deleted when updating the maps using the above method?

Mine never on this occasion but they did the last time
