Happy new owner of Skoda Octavia Estate 2.0 VRS Petrol

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I am the fresh new owner of Skoda Octavia Estate 2.0 VRS Petrol and have question for all of you knowledgable Skoda enthusiasts:

Have tried to register my vehicle on the official Skoda website under the section of owners to get access to full vehicle specifications etc. Provide my VIN number and surprisingly didn't get any specific detailed info just a few options to buy a service etc.. So is there a website/software to get a full spec of the vehicle based on VIN?. ( yes have tried around 20 first shots from google search engine VIN websites and all of them gave me different inconsistent data). All I need is detailed info about engine/gearbox etc.. so be able to do the maintenance myself The place I bought the vehicle was a Ford dealer and they got it as a part exchange so wasn't really keen to obtain any further info for me.

Here is my VIN number if anyone has access and means to decode:

TMBKE7NE4J0277999

Martin

I too recently bought a 2016 vRS diesel DSG 4x4 estate and love it. I got some good info from this site, listing of all options fitted and whatever servicing was on the Skoda system. https://check-car.eu   The report took a few hours to come through and cost £16.70 equivalent, priced at 20 euros.

Erwin will give you the vehicle option   pr code list and any service guides you care to download. You have to pay for 1hr access around 8 euro.  I've never had success with any free vin sites.

.

That said you probably don't require this for most regular run of the mill servicing

Thank You steelyboy and TheClient for a response, I will probably go for Erwin but before that will try to get info from OBDELEVEN PRO which I have used for about a year with my other Skoda Yeti.

Regards and have a nice weekend.

Hi everyone - just a little update.. I have performed a full scan by OBDELEVEN PRO and got all required info in regards of engine / gearbox etc... luckily no registered faults .. (as per interface I have used) .. will be interested to see if VCDS will show up anything  ... anyway lets no try to fix it if it working fine..
