Rear camera image missing sometimes

After turning Park Assist off and on again the image usually appears. 
 

Does anyone else experience this?

Yes, mine is an aftermarket AliExpress TypeA, (see Wayland’s thread) and when I first installed it, it was very reluctant to work reliably.  I lost count of the number of times I took the glovebox out, and lifted the tailgate lining, to check the connections.

 

After a few months, it now works almost all of the time, occasionally frustrating, but I’m living with it.

Have the same version. No such issues so far.

You mean the SW version?

I have 1788 at least since July, but noticed this problem last week for the first time. Then it happened like 4 times in the week.
