Hi all, I would like to ask, if there is a chance to add the view in this photo to Virtual Cockpit via VCDS. Mine does not have this for some reason. I heard some opinions, that only RS/Sportline version offer this but I dont think its true as I saw it on many Superbs, Scalas, Karoqs with VC...

Certainly is available on my MY2020 L&K.

 

The UK brochure for the facelift version is, of course, completely contradictory... pages about the models suggest the 'sport' view is only on the VRS (might be on the SportLine as well, but the virtual cockpit isn't standard anyway) and not the L&K:

 

 

However, the options page later on suggests that if you add the VC as an option, you get all 5 views, but with an additional Sports design on the SportLine (whatever that is!).

 

Virtual cockpit including 10.25" Digital display which replaces the traditional instrument dials. Can be customised with 5 views (Classic, Basic,
Extended, Modern and Sport), with an additional Sports design for SportLine trim.

OP has 2018 model. At this time it was totally unavailable. It became available only at 2019 and only for RS.

I believe it could be recoded with VCDS, but I don`t have instructions for it.

If you have VCDS, start looking around in module 17 Instruments, I believe.

It is true. It is, or at least was. only available on certain models.

 

I suggest you search thru the forums as I remember folk adding bit's n bobs to their cars via VCDS on the virtual cockpit - I recall someone managed to add the 'Sportline' infortainment startup screen to their non Sportline car. ( Why they'd want to do this is a different story ).

 

I suspect only cars earlier than MY21 can be changed via VCDS as the software on later cars are probably locked.
