Just a massive thank you to @DieselMonte who saved my bacon when the seat adjustment handle snapped off on my Fabia. He was also kind enough to send over some headrest guide pins for my middle rear headrest retrofit, all out of his own pocket.

Fuel trap drain problem

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my fuel filler flap drain. It seems to be blocked. I've tried using a very fine brush, but I can't get it in. I also tried blowing air through the drain hole with a syringe. After heavy rain or when I wash the car, I have to empty the contents of the hatch with a syringe. Do you know if this part is easy to repair? Is it attached somewhere or does the pipe fall directly onto the wheel arch insulation? The hose reference: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-par

Hello everyone We have a 2014 Skoda Fabia 105 TDI with 130,000m on the clock. On a recent trip back from France driving along at about 70mph we suddenly lost power with juddering and the ignition coil flashing. We pulled over, waited a bit and restarted the engine and all was well. We then continued on our way without problem for another 200-250km. The car had been overdue for its major service (variable intervals) and so the oil was 12,000m old by this time. We have since had it serviced by

I fitted a Nextbase dashcam to my Octavia last year and have noticed that the piggyback fuse keeps blowing. I connected the dashcam to the cigarette light socket fuse and am using the standard fuses for both. (I can't remember what these values are!) After a period of time, I've noticed that the socket no longer works, and neither does the dashcam. I don't know how long this period is as I don't use the socket much and the dashcam is just on in the background. It is the cigarette lighter fus

Hey, guys. I have a 2019 Superb, and i normally fill the tank full with 99 octane fuel (from Tesco). The guage always moves to full, and the range adjusts accordingly. Yesterday, i was running low - range: 15 miles range - and decided to fill a small amount - 6l - of 95 octane. After driving off, i noticed the guage hadn't moved and the range was still showing as 15 miles. So, i decided to fill another 6l at a different fuel station. Same issue - in fact, the range has now dropped to 10 miles. 1
