remote has stopped working

Featured Replies

locked the car earlier today and when I tried to use the remote later it had stopped working. Spare is fine. Checked the battery and it was showing 3v but changed it anyway as I was in Halfwits.

Have tried what it says in the manual to resync - press button and then unlock door using key but no luck. Remote is a non flick key with two buttons.

Any ideas?

Has it got a light on it? Is it illuminating.

Shouldnt need re programming after changing the battery, you put it in the right way?

light comes on when pressing the switch. It failed before I changed the battery but I swapped it anyway just to test.

Manual says something about the fact that the key can becom unsynced if used out of range or something? Small child may have played with the key but not sure.

If you look here - http://www.fabia-vrs.com/

In the technical section you will find how to reactivate the remote.
