Finally got my oem radio out of my 06 Fabia VRS only to find there are three block connectors to it  and the adaptor kit for the new radio only has two.  Must have watched the wrong You Tube video as only showed two connectors 😞

 

I suppose the question would be is this radio the wrong fit or do I need a different adaptor lead?

Could you post some photographs here so I (or others) can see what you're referring to. I feel a wee bit lost.

The third block of connectors may be there for when the car has a multi CD player fitted under the passenger seat.

I have a piece of kit that I originally had in my previous Fabia, it is a plug in cable connected to an iPad that tricks the stereo into thinking that there is a multiple CD unit fitted under the passenger seat, and it plays the iPad tracks perfectly.So if like both of my Fabias there was none fitted there would be an empty connector block from new.

Yeah that sounds about right. Mine never had a CD changer and only has the two ISO connectors and the antenna connector.

Pictures speak a thousand words then im sure we can resolve the issue

Thanks guys, cd changer is the one I reckcon.  Now have to get an aerial booster!  Understand I have to swap red and yellow arround and connect booster wire to live feed.  I'm confused -probably 'cos I am old (in years) haha.  So when the cables are swapped do I connect to the yellow or the red (before they go into the connector block?

 

Just make sure loom yellow goes to red on connector and vice versa do you should end it with a red to yellow and a yellow to red.

I shbould have said from the stereo to the loom will take a pic in the morning of mine to show you
