EMS P0106 on a 2013 Mk2 Fabia Vrs

Featured Replies

So a couple months back the engine light started flashing on my Vrs intermittently. This was coupled with bad, all cylinder, misfires and poor performance. After replacing some parts the car started running like normal but then a few days later the engine light came on and held solid. After scanning it I found out it was a P0106.  No misfires, sluggish power band ect. The only thing I've noticed is when coming to a stop, the engine has stuttered for a second. But this has only happened a couple of times. Also my MPG may have dropped a little, but it's hard to tell. I've been trying to diagnose the problem since it started, checking wiring, vacuum hoses, replacing map sensors and many hours of scouring through forums. The only thing that I've managed to find is a bit of chafing on hoses, but nothing that had worn through and one of the wires on a map sensor was snapped, I de-pinned the connector, bought a replacement pin and crimped it on. The car has done 45000 miles and is the CTHE. It's been to two garages that can't find any issues. The parts that have been replaced throughout all of the ordeal are 2 map sensors, the connector pins for one of the map sensors, 4 plugs, 4 coils, and the N75 valve. Feel free to ask for any more info, and thanks for the help everyone.
