Can high beam assist be retro fitted to my 2021 Octavia SEL with front camera?

That's so weird, it's hard to believe they make different cameras. Maybe it's only the first edition things, like how wireless android didn't work at first.

Does the Octavia have wireless Android? I thought wireless only worked with iOS.

Yes it does. Only the very first cars didn't have it, but they're now receiving updates which enable it again. (but the most recent firmware breaks wireless android again for some users 🤣)

I wonder does my Superb have it? I've never used Android auto on this car, either wired or wireless, will give it a try later.

Superb definitely has wired and facelift models should have wireless I think. Not a 100% sure though.

It's not the hardware. They just don't want to officially offer it for your vehicle for some reason

No joy with wireless Android unfortunately, works perfectly with the cable. Wireless apple carplay looks to be supported, I'll try with an iPhone and see how it works.

If it has wireless carplay then you'll be able to have wireless android auto with a software update

I'll ask about it when I'm getting it serviced, although I don't have much faith in dealers doing anything you ask them, I'm usually met with a blank stare...

My car has wireless android after the software update. Had to fiddle about a bit with settings on my pixel4 but it works fine.
