Dash display

Featured Replies

Hey folks.

I've not long bought a 2012 Superb. How do I change the display in the centre of the dash? It Currently has the average MPG, temp displayed, bit I'd like to swap it. How do I get into the menu too?

I think it has maxi dot as when you open the door a car outline comes on it.

It had a multi function steering wheel too.

Thanks in advance

RH side of wheel, press the return button then should display MFD, setup and something else, been a while since I've played with it 😀

Use the scroll wheel to move to menus then click it

It only allows you to change the settings whilst the car is not moving.

I've just tried with handbrake on. Handbrake off but still can't get it to do anything. All the other buttons seem to work ok with the radio 🤷🏼‍♂️

The 'individual functions' vary by specification and market, but roughly when selecting 'MFD' (Multi Function Display)  you should be able to view some or all of the following:

  • Driving time
  • Current fuel consumption
  • Average fuel consumption
  • Range
  • Distance driven
  • Average speed
  • Current speed
  • Oil temperature
  • Warning against excessive speeds
