Do Mk3 VRS Estate catback exhausts fit the MkIV VRS Estate?

Featured Replies

Hi I have  MKIV Skoda Octavia RS Estate in Australia that came with the IS20 Turbo but gen4 ea888 engine (no OPF, with cat instead). Australian VRS’s don’t get the OPF here so retain the IS20 (not Garrett turbo) but still have the new ECUs. This means that existing mods off the 5E fit ie cold air intakes.

Do Mk3 VRS Estate catback exhausts fit the MkIV VRS? Is the exhaust configuration the same? A quick look under the car shows it to be very similar if not identical.

Would make hunting for a catback exhaust much easier.

I don't think so otherwise I would have had one fitted by now.

The MK4 exhausts are a pain to get hold of, if you want a brand like Remus, Milltek, Scorpion etc.

I tried my local VW performance specialist to see what they could do, they stated that the Milltek exhaust was showing as in stock but then after

that they never got back to me about lead times/prices/fitting etc..   So not going to bother with them if that's how they treat potential customers.
