Hello everyone,

 

I have problem with rpm on my dashboard on my Octavia.

After 30-45 minutes drive, I have this problem.

Engine work fine.

I record my problem, and upload on youtube.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

 

 

What exactly is the ‘problem’ that you have - the soft limiter?

The needle appears to retard in jerks instead of smoothly.

I suspect needle transducer is binding somehow (check needle/lubricate) or there is a bad solder joint (resolder), only investigative disassembly will find the cause.
