Number Plate Query................

Featured Replies

Evenin' All,

I'm trying to track down a certain style of number plate that i have seen on a car..... I'm pretty sure i saw something about it on a motoring forum a year or two ago as well but have been unable to find anything on the net.

The style of plates i'm after use the normal UK font, But.............. Instead of a normal sized plate in white/yellow. They are cut out so as to give a slight white/yellow edging or lip around the letters & numbers..... As i say i've seen them on a car in the flesh and iread something about them online a bit back but can i hell as like find owt about them now!!!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Dave.

have a look at this sight, its a shop local to me, and they do alot of plates for cars in MAX POWDER and other Modified car magazine, and one of the ones they do, are the ones you want.

http://www.applegate.co.uk/company/13/06/262.htm

I looked at them for on my car.

They are fully legal, as long as there is 11mm all round the letters, its a loop hole in the law, as they do not specify that it has to be a full rectangle

give them a ring, as i can not see them on there website. dont ring the 0845 number, here is there direct line

Tel: 0161 355 6578

Fax: 0161 3394820

Hope they can help, and hope I have been helpful
