Fabia 2 VRS - Door Lock Wiring diagram

Featured Replies

My drivers door isnt locking from the remote. All other doors lock and drivers door will lock with the key.

Tried changing the locking unit with known good parts with the same issue so it lloks like an electrical issue.

Where can I find wiring diagrams?

One or more busted wires in the door bellows, surely.

Yeah I want to check, the up down on the passenger mirror isnt working either.

Just have no idea which wires are which!

Mend the broken ones, or all. Lots of kits on ebay.

Even if you had a wiring diagram, as Wino said fixing any broken wires would have been the ideal way to check it first, but heres the diagram you requested.

PS for me, if there is several broken wires (and I am fully equiped to do repairs),  even so I would fit a new loom as opposed to repairs, but thats just personal choice

Note your lock works with the key because thats a mechanical linkage, looking at the diagram, Blue / Yellow trace wire looks like the guilty one as thats the output to each motor, but I

suppose the door contact switch feed T73/19 (brown / yellow trace ) could also cause the issue as it might think the door is open

Usual with these, Strip the door card pull the wires through to reduce the stress and repair the broken wires.

Thanks guys, you were right. Wires in the door had clean breaks.

I took the loom out and soldered them for now and everything works now (including the left mirror), should do for now.

Other wires are starting to go brittle and crack so I'll order a new loom from skoda (£120 Inc. VAT)

Thankyou. Had this issue and had to extend one brown wire. The pictures also helped show which side of the grommet to take off.
