BKD Radiator fan operating temperatures

First post! Not usually one to be on forums but I'll try to  keep it sweet and simple.

Does anyone know the operating conditions, or parameters for the radiator fans? Put simply, what temperature do they start, what temperature(s) do they ramp up (Or go full speed)

Additionally, how does the radiator outlet temperature sensor (on the thermostat housing/flange) come into play when they turn on and how fast they spin (if that's what the sensor does).

Thank you in advance, my Haynes manual doesn't say much at all about this.
