2013 Superb Columbas draining battery.

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

my 2013 superb is having an issue where the columbas unit is draining the battery. The battery is good, only a year old. I removed the head unit and it's been fine ever since. When the head unit is in it drains over 4 days/nights or so and won's start.

Does anyone know if it's more likely to be the head unit itself or could it be other modules that are are governed by the head unit? GPS, Bluetooth etc.

I've read about the head unit hard drive issue. Not sure if it's that or not. My wife says the car was making a strange noise on occasion which was coming through the speakers.

Could an O/S Update maybe fix this?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
