hi all i currently have a 1.2 htp fabia 2011 plate...its been a great car and im keeping it. Im now looking to buy another fabia also, most of the ones i am looking at are up to a 13 plate with a tsi engine, are these engines ok as i have read on here they suffer with turbo problems, or is this just a few that have had this problem.

1.2 TSI need checked on the chain tensioner and update pre 2012.  Then there is a turbo shim update covered by a TPI as well.  The turbo accutator might have ment a new turbo was fitter under warranty or out of warranty just an accutor fitted.  Like with any models / engines is not all vehicles, but you want to check if all had been addressed or never was an issue.  The MK2 Fabia section has 10 years worth of posts on the subject.
