Should tyres smell?

Featured Replies

After some issues in getting them delivered, i went to pick up the tyres i ordered online from the delivery company. They have been with them for aout a week now so have been sat in a warehouse in a ventilated area. But i noticed they have quite a smell to them, its a normal rubbery tye-type smell but i have store them in my spare room as i dont have a garage and its pretty noticeable!

I've always got new tyres from a while-you-wait type place so never had to handle them before. Thought this time i'd go the cheaper route.

Yes, I think it smells quite nice :)

Yep I left mine at my other halfs parents place for about 2 weeks, her mum wasn't keen on the smell but lucky for my the wee lass and her dad did!

Nothing to worry about.
