Hi everyone,I'm Chris from Blackburn in Lancashire. I recently sold my lovely looking 1 series BMW as I actually hated driving it ! It was twitchy and the gearbox was disgraceful! .. I spotted this striking blue Octavia for sale locally and iv fallen in love with it instantly, so nice to drive and has loads of factory extras to make it that more enjoyable!! The owner previous owner has pointed me this way so you guys may of already seen it but its new to me and I'm loving it !

Iv got a few bits that I want to do to it to make it myown over the next few weeks and iv got a gremlin in the infortainment system which I'll be seeking help with also.

I'm looking forward to having a good browse through the forum !

Sadly said goodbye to my mk4 vrs estate in black last weekend. Exactly 3 years old, 28k miles - a great car (apart from the Bridgestone tyres!) If anyone is after a good mk4 with pan roof, winter pack and complete Skoda service history, they have it for sale at Winchester Skoda and Ryan is your man. Took delivery of a brand new stock vrs estate in Smokey Silver. Tow bar, winter pack, pan roof, dcc, canton and simply clever pack. Early thoughts are they it sounds so much nicer on the exhaust not

TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. K

Lower tyre pressures to improve ride?

I'm very happy with my Mk.SEL except for the somewhat harsh ride. Previous VW's had a 'comfort' setting for tyre pressures so would it be sensible to reduce the presures on the 16" tyres by about 4psi from the normal settings of 37psi/ 40psi ? I'd be very grateful for comments.

Hi there I’m looking for some advise, over the last 6 months my car has been idling at 1000rpm on most journeys not all the time but I’d say 80% of the time when this happens the fans stay on for a couple or so minutes after turning the engine off, my first thought is obviously a dpf regen so about 4 weeks ago I took it for a blast at 70mph around 2700rpm this did clear some crap out the exhaust, but didn’t stop the high idling, I do do some regular long distance runs and the normal day to day r
