Servicing

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good garage for servicing. I purchased my 05 Fabia 1.9TDI from Saltdean Garage on the South Coast. The sales dept were ok but the service dept are abysmal - very badly run and pricey - £225 for a 20k service!!

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced garage on the South Coast (Brighton to Hastings) or up to the Southern M25 Corridor who I can take my car to and still retain my warranty?

Thanks! :)

H

Price seems abut right for a 20k.

 Cripes! Ok cheers Lummox :)

IIRC, you can service it yourself (or use an independant garage) so long as you use OEM parts. The sump plug is 90p, the oil shouldn't cost more than about £25 and oil filter is about £7. I think you need to follow the service schedule, though.

I might be wrong, I've never had the pleasure of a car still in it's warranty so I do what I can myself. :D

You cant service it yourself (unless you happen to own a VAT reg'd garage as mentioned).
