2011 TDI Skoda 86k miles

Hi Folks,

I am new to Skoda, a year ago we bought a Roomster 1.2 Petrol 2012, Tsi. 115k miles

I am looking at a very high spec 2011 model with @1.2 Tdi Diesel Engine. 84k miles.

I have 2 concerns / Worries, with a low mileage is it almost certain it will need a DPF.

Is there a Gearbox issue, getting stuck in reverse and first gear with this Model.

I have been led to thinking the 1.2 basic petrol is fairly bullet proof.

Not sure about the Diesels at all, I run a 2002 3.0L Isuzu Trooper (self maintained) for towing and know all about pain. It has just got to much for me to manage the sheer size and weight of everything.

Would really appreciate any comments.

Trying to get a handle on what to expect from an 11 year old Roomster.
