New Key Fob

Featured Replies

I just saw one of these on ebay (check the link at the bottom of my post) does anybody know if this will work on my 2001 fabia classic. It has central locking but not remote central locking.I remember looking at the FAQ on that excellent Vrs (see other link) website and I think it might. Anybody got any thoughts?

I like that website too :P

I would have thought that if you didn't already have remote locking then you wouldn't be able to just buy the fob and make it work. Was it specified on the car from new?

Is that your website Stu? Its a quality webpage good work if it is.Regarding the key it would make sense as the car would have to have some sort of reciever.

Yeah it's mine mate.

I would say that as yours is a classic and an early one at that then you probably didn't get remote locking.
