Eibach prokit, not lowering as i thought

Featured Replies

Hi fellas!

Hope you are doing well, I'm writing cause' I don't know if there's any way to go more lower as I just installed the eibach prokit springs but front vs rear results is not what I was looking for, at the front it's perfect, but at the rear it's almost the same as the stock height, what is your recommendation? Going with another springs replacing just those or all the set? (with he extra cost 😭), going with coilovers?? (more expensive solution) .

My set up

Bilstein B6

Eibach prokit

Any recommendation will be appreciated!

Yeah..  It seems that the solution will be to buy another set of springs 😭😭😭😭

I'd let it settle for a week or 2. Other than that you'd have to get shorter springs on the rear.

Either Eibach Sport line or H&R. Dont forget to get a wheel alignment and headlight level reset done afterwards.

I am fitting the pro kit to my car when the weather improves along with B4s and the Clubsport Rear Anti roll bar. For me I dont want too much of a drop as I still want to be able to use it and not worry about car park ramps, speed humps etc. To me your car sits well.

Funny fact is that i asked to a friend of mine (weights like 200 lbs) to sit in the rear sits..., thats exactly how  want it to look, but it's not possible to carry him always hahaha.

Yesterday I talked with a local springs company, they offered me some gti mk7 springs but because of thw way and some photos I know that it will be too low, the option was to manufacture 2 rear springs and specify them the lenght, but i don't know how much that has to be, stock springs have 33 cm, gti mk7 that they have 27 cm, it's difficult to guess if 30 will be enough or not

Thats something that I wanted and still want, to keep the drivability, and yes, I probably can keep with this and forget about the 1 cm that I have between front and rears... Thats an option also, I even thought about going with 2 cm of rear wheel spacers instead of the actual 1.5 cm, maybe moving the wheel outside will give an effect in terms of the tyre being more visibl. Thanks for your comment mate

This is how it sits, with 1.5 cm spacers at the rear
