Rear indicator out. It may not be the bulb.

Featured Replies

2 miles after passing the MOT the rear left indicator threw a wobbly. Took everything to bits expecting a blown bulb. No, the contact for the side of the bulb had broken at the top, but not fallen out. Kitchen foil bodge time, jammed the foil between the contact and the bulb and everything now works without throwing  up any faults.

A touch of grease on the pins helps the light unit go back in, otherwise they are a swine to get in.

Extra info.

Would have cost a fortune at a dealers workshop. Diagnosis charge, then probably told you need a complete new unit.
