Heavy rain / standing water.... and semi slicks

Today has been a little different. nice dry weather has meant its been rather good for cornering. Was doing 40mph going into a bit of a bendy bit, followed by a 4x4 behind me (legal limit) - I didn't brake or coast around these bends. Was amusing to see the distance pulled on the 4x4, who promptly caught up from about 300 yards back once we were through the sharp bends I elected to stick to 40mph through.
