Hi all, 

I have a waterfall noise on switch off, from my 2016 Octavia diesel. We have changed water pump B and still have the problem. The noise comes from inside the cabin. No coolant is being lost, engine temp is still at 90. Car drives well. The car has done 165K and 150k of those, it’s been a taxi. I’m an owner driver and it has been looked after properly. I’ve recorded the noise I’ve just joined the forum, but unbeknown to you, you diagnosed my alternator fault on Sunday. 

I can't hear a thin but it is likely to be the airconditioning refrigerant gas equalising when the pump stops, try putting the system into ECO mode & then shutting down after 30 seconds.

Hello, did you ever resolve this issue? I'm getting a sloshing from behind the dashboard when the ignition is turned off but everything "seems" okay regarding engine temp, coolant levels.....

Ive got a 2020 petrol VRS and that seems to spend about five minutes making all sorts of gurgling whirring and clicking noises once the ignition is turned off. It sounds like its transforming itself into something else. Its done it since new so just assumed thats what they all did (plus its my first modernish car)
