Looking at a S/H Karoq - is this service history ok or not?

I'm interested in a Karoq 1.5 Edition Manual, not DSG which has done about 47k miles but the only service history is one at 17,600 miles then 36500 & then 42800. I'm thinking this isn't good, especially with the first one being at nearly 18k.

Is it possible this is a reasonble history, or a car that's probably been neglected?

Welcome to the forum.

How old is it, is it 3 years old.

How old was it at 17,600 miles?

That was when the oil and filter was changed on variable service intervals, what else does it show as done?

Has the pollen filter been replaced once or twice?

If 3 years old was the brake fluid changed?

Are the Tyres matching or matching pairs?

Is the windscreen chip free?

Are the brake discs looking OK?

That is the same Servicing as a Motability, Fleet, Lease or any car would get or any left on the Variable / Flexible Servicing the cars come from the factory set for.

The option is Fixed Service Intervals of 9,400 miles / 12 months that not everyone wants to have the car serviced at.

Thanks for the information. It was registered late April 2018 so it's nearly four years old & at the first service at 17,600 it was almost exactly one year old. Then there's a two year & 19,000 mile gap to the next service at 36,500 & then a nine month 6000 mile gap until the last service.

I'm trying to get more information about what each service involved but I had been put off by what seemed a high mileage for he first service - it turns out I may be wrong. The tyres are pairs so not a complete mismatch.

I only do a low mileage each year so it will soon become a lower mileage that average vehicle.

Again, thanks.

It is not high miles to the first service.  It came with Long Life oil and set on Variable Servicing and that could be from 18,000-20,000 miles.

This gives an idea of what Skoda shows for year 3 on.  (Fixed Servicing)

Not that Skoda Main Dealer Servicing means it is done, the customer pays for what they want changed.

Years 1, 2 or 3 might have little done even if there was a service plan.

If there is a FMDSH you want it to show the history of what actually has been done at workshop visits.
