Had a look on the forums and not found an answer to this question, I have the Bolero in my 2020 Superb, I normally listen to my own music from the SD card, but am doing a long trip down the A17 where I know there are some serious delays at Sutton bridge until July.

If you have TP (traffic announcements) switched on the FM radio but are listening to  mp3s on the SD card will the FM annoucements still interrput

to tell you of delays? if they indicated long delays I would take a detour, otherwise not bother.

Yes, the TP channel is continuously monitored even when you are listening to other music sources, and will pause the MP3 currently playing during the TP announcement.

Hi PetrolDave, Thanks for the response, being an old fogey I don't often listen to the FM stations, too many advertisements and inane chatter.

So as long as the FM setting for auto location and TP is 'On' I can listen to my Pink Floyd etc and not get stuck in a 2 mile long queue.
