Vehicle Health Report message.

Featured Replies

Driving to work this morning and I had a yellow warning symbol come up on the central screen. If there was any message shown, i didn't get chance to see it, but after running the Vehicle Health Report on the My Skoda app, it came up with the following defect:

Lights!   vhr.warning.msg.39.4

The lights appear to be working ok, front and back. Has anyone any idea what this could be? It could be just a glitch, but coincidently the car is starting to have a few wobblers lately, insomuch that the left side mirror randomly fails to lower when reverse gear is selected, and in the last two days the cabin heating system is only giving out lukewarm air whatever temperature is selected.

Maybe time for a full software reboot/refresh?

Bit off the wall this but have you checked your coolant level?

Hi Tom, yes that was my first thought. It appears to be at the Max level at the moment. I'm trying to get another health report from the app but until I drive a decent distance the report is still dated 23 March. Hopefully it might have cleared next time around. All the lights appear to be working ok.

Thanks.

If you go into the vehicle status menu on the head unit you will get a pictogram showing if there are any faults. Similar to this..

So, after doing a decent run to the Lake District and back, I have downloaded another VHC on my Karoq, and sure enough it is now showing no faults. Yet another glitch. Far too much technical witchcraft going on in modern cars.
