Go to the guides section or YouTube. I do believe you cannot remove the glovebox but you can remove the upper glove box to access the motor and passenger airbag.

Thanks for reply. Have removed air bag and top glove compartment but still can't see how to get access to the screws to remove the motor housing.  Have blow with compressed air which has helped. Think it may be debris inside.

I have Def seen a guide somewhere on this subject. I think people remove the pollen filter under the glove compartment and blow air through there. I'll have a look and see if I can find the blower motor replacement guide

Ok here is the guide to replace the blower motor but hopefully you do not have to as you near enough need to remove the whole dash. Some people remove the steering wheel nut others have done it by loosening the dash and moving it to get access to the motor and remove it.

!

Good luck

Thanks Cocain, I have seen the video, but it looks a long winded way to achieve access to the motor. Ihave a haynes manual on the mk 1 & Mk2 just a few bolts a tug and there it is. As I look into the back of the bottom of glove compartment I notice the plastics are not the same, just as the back may be removable giving access to the motor, I have tried gently sliding a nife down between the breakline to see if I CAN GET MOVING. mostly cars are designed with maintenance in mind. I thankyou for researching the video but must say looks a very long way to crack the nut. The car is a skoda Fabia Elegance no referal in the haynes book to this variant.

Cheers.
