Hi, is it possible that my 2012 Skoda Superb does not have an alarm system? I thought that every car had one but I have never heard it. My country's insurance company needs the car to have an alarm system. How can I check for sure that it does not have one right now? It does not have any sensors, only the red blinking bulb on the drivers door when I lock it. I saw a video on yt where a guy used the VCDS and unlocked something but I'm not sure about it.

See if there's a PR code on the build sticker (usually in/near spare wheel well) that begins 7A and then has another letter after the A.

If you have the very first one, 7AA, your car has an immobiliser but no alarm system. Any other letter and the system is as described here:
