Help this is always on at night. It's very dim but once you notice it out becomes annoying. I RTFM and tried all the buttons.

Do you mean the rear interior light is on all the time?

 

The front and rear switches are independent to each other.  To turn the light off both the front and rear switches need to be in the off position (pushed in).  If either switch is in the on position the light will stay on.

Glad I found this forum, my courtesy lights have been on ever since it last went to the garage, so thanks. Now they don't come on when opening the door but at least the footwell lights do so it's less of a problem.

My thanks was to you, sorry I didn't use quote function but am learning daily!

I had same prob as OP so that's solved, I've just got to work out how to get the "courtesy" function to work when opening and closing the doors but that's less important as I can now switch on and off manually.
