long story but due to a leave the scene transit driving neighbour i need a replacement  front wing drivers side for a mk1 fabia i cant see any listed on a quick search but i can see loads advertised for a 2006 polo are they the same ? 

No the Polo and Fabia use different wings. I think Euro Car Parts sell a wing for the car that'll need painted.

 

Otherwise, breakers yards are your best bet. Hatboyharvey on YouTube has a video on removing the wing.

euro car parts list a polo wing for £33 just wondered what the difference is if its just the repeater flasher ile go with that there's a scrape on the other wing too so i was thinking 2 wings and work is doing the job

Maybe different mounting points, slight different shapes / curvature etc 

Going for the cheapest part isn’t always the best idea. Stick you hand in your pocket and get the correct part for your car, otherwise the old saying of buy cheap, buy twice might bite you in the derrière …..

The difference is that the Polo and the Fabia look totally different because the bodyshell and all body panels are completely different.
