Ramiar sport filter

Hello

I have one question. I bought this kit for Skoda Octavia RS 2007 TDI.  (170HP ->200HP)

Now i am wondering if i leave air filter like this, or should give another pipe down to get cooler air, or to close from up with another black plate and give direct air... Or sell it and build back original box and then buy sport filter for box?

I wanted to get cool air. That was my first meaning. Then sound and perform-ens.

Because i also changed to bigger inter-cooler from S3 and from plastic with flaps to ALU intake manifold.
