Retrieving Radio Code

Featured Replies

Good morning/afternoon (depends when I finish writing this) from baltic Greenock...

Anyway, I've procured a Skoda MS202 head unit to mess about with but it's got nae code. How exactly do I get it? Are these ebay folk advertising code retrieval to be trusted?

Ta. :)

I used to have a VAG serial number decoder that on some radios worked but I've used the ebay services twice now with no problem just send them the serial number engraved into the case and short time later the code was emailed

Thanks Nige. Will try one of the ebay folk then, once the unit has arrived of course. :)

Hi Ryan...   Didn't you want a head unit to work with a CD changer?  If so I'm pretty certain an ms202 won't as we had one in our estate and I changed it to a symphony out of an Octavia so we could use a changer

I do, but this wee 202 is just for messing about with really as I know it won't work with the changer. I'd like an MS502 for factory completeness as I love the Sony stereo I have but it won't stay in the dash like the factory one sadly.

Ordered and received a code from a seller on eBay. Will try it once the unit arrives. :)

£7.60 or there abouts. At least I have the code should I require it in the future though. :)

Ah, not too bad then :)
