That said, if you can't find how to code out, can you add resistors to the lights that have been replaced with LED's?

If you only want to change the sidelights to led no coding is required you only need to buy proper osram led bulbs, if you want led headlights you will need a HID conversion kit that reduces the power and DOES NOT MELT YOUR HEADLAMP FITTINGS like most people do

IF you want to disable the bulb check procedure you need VCP. VCDS does not do this for you.

@Murdockman, are you confusing LED and High Intensity Discharge bulbs?

 

Most people do not melt my headlamp fittings, in fact nobody has to date.
