Removal of Airbag Passenger Side

I'm changing  blower/resistor on my Roomster and have to remove the airbag.  I've undone the 3 screws securing the airbag but can't get the plastic top off covering the airbag.  Have tried prizing the plastic up with screwdriver but it wont come up and dont want to damage it.

 

Any ideas on how to best get this airbag and its cover off?
