Hi all! Got my vRS estate today. Plugged my mp3 into the USB and...nothing. It says "no music files found". Please help. Got to have my tunes in my gorgeous new motor!

Have you got at least one mp3 file in the root of the usb? The others can be in their own directories.

Please explain more what you mean by 'mp3' - USB stick, MP3 player, something else?

If USB stick or similar how is it formatted?

My mp3 player was connected via cable to the USB inlet.

I will plug it into my laptop and check. My other car read all the files on my mp3 player so I might have put them all in a separate folder to the root. Thank you.

I added more MP3 files to my 32gb stick and they would no longer play, I unplugged and reconnected still nothing

then on trying the reconnection again it fired up and plays a treat. This usb stick has a thin blue strip in the port where

the usual usb 3 has a thick blue section

The car will only natively read files actually on a USB stick. You're trying to play from a different device. It should be possible to stream them depending upon what your device is though.

Thank you! Put all my music on a USB and am now a happy motorist. Much appreciated!
