Any one fitted a reverse camera to a Superb III with Columbus 2.5 or got a link for the correct camera?

I used these guys   https://www.avrmobiles.co.uk/product-category/parking-camera-fitters/   - to install reversing camera to my Amundsen. They used a local guy to fit it. Good service - They will ask you sepcific questions for your car, to ensure they get the correct parts.

 

Mine is working perfect so far.

Can you remember which pack you ordered. Was it pack A?

My Superb is an estate, and so MQB-Cam B was the fit for mine.  Not sure of what is needed for the Saloon.

I asked for a quote from Richter automotive. was nearly £900. Needless to say I did not take them up on it.

Was it an easy fit and did it need coding to work or plug and play please.

Wow... if you look on Facebook at Skoda Retrofits I offer it for £300 genuine parts, fully fitted.

 

none of this cheap Chinese aftermarket cameras.

I'd love @ApertureS to do mine but it would be a full day out and 300+ miles for me so it'd be good to know if there's someone reliable out West.

Sasha fitted mine, and is also based it Wales, although North not South.

I'm not sure if she's still active on briskoda as she sold her Superb.

Nope, haven't got round to it yet. Doesn't bode well if you haven't though...

@passatman62 unfortunately I wasn’t able to make the dates work to get over and see @ApertureS, but I have managed to get it installed by someone else which may not be ridiculously far for you.

 

I ended up getting it done by VW Retrofit in Redditch:

Bit of a pain to get to but very efficient - in and out in under two hours. Not the chattiest of chaps, nor particularly forthcoming with how it’s supposed to work after the installation etc, but bashed through it and it all works fine. May be an option for you?
