Vehicle status code

Featured Replies

Hello!
I would like to know the code for the new Superb Touring or Sedan on the vehicle status page in the picture and would be willing to pay for it. thanks

vehicle status1.jpg

Can you please be a little more explicit as the Vehicle Status page only shows faults!

The only long coding youll have will be byte 0-2 which will be

  • 03 84 01 - Skoda Superb

  • 03 84 02 - Skoda Superb Kombi

The newer superb models wont exist on the older unit as the unit was around before the face lift was even conceived.

What is it you're attempting to do?

Thank you, I just upgraded the MIB2.5 Columbus system host, but the vehicle status is Kodiaq, so I want to know the new code of Superb.

so do u have a facelift Superb?

cause if u did, why did u "upgrade" backwards to a MIB2.5 unit when the facelifts comes with the new MIB3 units?

if u have a pre-facelift which u upgraded to the MIB2.5 unit, then why would u want to use the new facelift code/picture?

makes no sense......

The upgrade was a Kodiaq unit, so I'd like to change to a Superb...

I'm looking at your refit topic recently: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/476310-new-fl-skoda-superb-2020-tail-lights-retrofit/

It is also considering upgrading the new FL dynamic taillights. Can the taillights and trims of the travel model and the sedan model be used together?

i understood that bit - Kodiaq to Superb.

wat i don't get it why u want the code for the new facelift Superb when u seem to have a pre-facelift Superb.

with the tail lights - no, the tail lights r different between sedan and wagon variants.

It has been modified according to the encoding, but the display is not up-to-date after modification on the MIB2.5 Columbus system unit.

May also need MIB3 unit to show new vehicle, I am now MIB2.5 unit, part number is 565035021C, H50

I just think the new one looks good, so I want to try it. Awkward

Can the direct replacement of the taillights of the sedan model work properly, or does it need to be switched to a wiring harness or something?

No, its not a direct replacement.

The unit will physically fit, but wiring harness is different for both inner and outer units.

If ur getting the chrome or black strip that goes across, then u'll need that trim piece plus new RVC, and the boot button to go with it.

Once all done, u'll need coding done so it does the proper startup and shutdown light sequence.

It feels so complicated

Where can these taillight accessories and harnesses be purchased?

They can’t, you’ll have to make them yourself.
not sure if the coding side of it is public knowledge or if a custom canbus setup is needed either.
