Do need to remove the Aerial on my VRS in a car wash? If so does it just unscrew?

I believe the newer ones (mine included) only unscrew so far then fold down. They aren't "removable".

Mine's a 51 reg and no, it wont come off...

I recently took my Octavia through a car wash, I unscrewed the ariel as far as it would go then folded it down and tightened it back up again, during the car wash i though that the ariel had been snapped off, but it had simply got stuck between the body work and the rear window glass.

Automatic car washes :shocked:

On the two occasions (in 21,000 miles) that I've used an automatic car wash on the Octy I've left the aerial alone, and it's survived so far ...... :evil:
