I keep getting messages while driving saying that a software update is available but not while I am driving.  There are two options "more information" or "remind me later" (I think)  . Nothing happens when I press them and the message disappears.

I have tried pulling over to the side of the road, putting the gear into "Park" (leaving the engine running and then pressing the update button but, again, the message idsappears and nothing happens.

Finally, I have tried pulling over and switching off the engine but, again the message disappears.

There is an option to update the software from the settings screen but this doesn't work as when I click on "search for updates" it goes roun and round until I gave up.

I do want to update the software if I can but it doesn't seem possible.

Just when u are home or shop or..  when u will leave the car turn off igintion-motor choose update and leave the car. It will update without u being there.

It updates while you are driving but when you stop it pauses. Some updates take hours some don’t tell you when they have updated apps do.Do you have a circle with number in at top of informant if so pull down gives updates info only if number there

I meant to come back to the forum but forgot until now.  I STILL cannot update the software. Neither suggestion has worked.  If I turn the ignition off, the update message disappears.  The message always appears when I am driving.  I click on "update" but nothing ever happens.  I did ask Skoda UK about this but they ignored my question.

Have you got any messages in the circle top of screen press it that will tell you if updated. And do a reboot press on button till you hear a pop. Some updates can take hours sometimes more than 8 hours
