Superb Mk III Estate Boot Depth

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm absolutely sold on the idea of buying a Skoda Superb (I took one out yesterday for a test drive and loved it). However, I'm now concerned that despite the cavernous boot, it might not be as deep as I initially thought (it needs to be able to take my large equipment bag for photo shoots which is 107cm long). I didn't think to take a measurement while I was at the dealership.

If someone could kindly take a measurement of the usable boot depth with the seats in the upright position (I don't want to have to fold them) it would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks

Tim

According to the brochure, the boot floor length is 1140mm.

Hi Top Topper, welcome to the forum. Not quite the same, but I will measure my Mk111 Octavia - Superb will not be smaller.

Hi Top, JR got there first. Interesting that the Octavia load bay turns out to be almost exactly the same.

Be aware the the dimension is only true at the base, the higher your bag is the less the length that can be accomodated.

If it has a solid bottom but squishy sides you will probably be OK dependant on what is inside.

Thanks everyone! Really helpful. And yes, interesting that the Octavia isn’t that much smaller.

The Octavia is 1050mm...almost 10cm shorter than the Superb's boot length.

Exact same width though.
