Ordered my Kamiq Monte Carlo 1.0 manual in Graphite Grey 2/4/22 and collected it yesterday 23/7/22. I ordered the car without seeing one in Graphite Grey and I must say the colour is amazing with a brilliant metallic fleck that really comes out in the sunshine, I see this as a real positive now as I was a bit worried having not seen one.

The only negative I have is that when I ordered it the Monte Carlo came with front and rear dynamic indicators, however mine only has the scrolling dynamic indicators on the rear not the front. The front 4x led’s in each indicator just flash and do not scroll. Please would you good people confirm is this is correct and is possibly down to semi conductor shortages.

Sounds about right on the Spec change as there were chip shortages and still are.

The lack of scrolling will not affect you will it since you will be in the car and i doubt many other road users will care as long as the indicators work and give a clear indication of your intentions. 

 

Thanks Roottoot, I agree the most important thing is still being able to indicate but I do like the scrolling indicators. It just feels like I have been short changed as I wasn’t told and only realised later in the day after delivery. 👍

That would wind me up, blinking front indicators but scrolling rears?  I’d rather just have one or the other.

How would you know unless looking in shop windows at the cars reflection & able to see both the front and rear simultaneously. 

Because I know they are different, regardless of whether I can see them.

Hi, I emailed the main dealer and he told me that they can recode the car to include scrolling front indicators too, I’ll have to leave the car for an hour. Makes me wonder why the factory didn’t do it.

 

Result.

I await the outcome of this with interest.

I'll wait and see.

I think it must be addition hardware detail, not only software setting

It would be good If I am wrong
