Hello guys, someone has ever seen this message on the display:

Fault: Vehicle lighting

And more importantly, has anyone been able to find the reason for this disorder?

I myself have checked all the outdoor lamps together with a VW service technician: Everything is ok. And the technician then read out the error memory: no entry.ask for your help.

Error should be stored in 09 - Central Electronics

 

Could be a few things this, really weird having no fault code.

 

Firmware update for the radio?

I haven't done a firmware update for the radio yet I don't know if it's because of it

It maybe nothing to do with the radio, it's very weird to have fault shown and no fault codes stored in the car.

I have checked all the lamps in the car, all lamps work perfectly.maybe someone will get in touch who has any idea about it, I hope😌

We could establish if there is a firmware available for your radio, holding down the Menu key for a few seconds to enter the hidden menu.
You are looking for Software Train and it will have a name like this MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T

I'd be amazed if there wasn't a fault code somewhere...

 

Do you have xenon headlights? Maybe it's the auto leveling system that's upset...

Usual is SD Card

But your version is exactly same as existing... but you could apply this over the top if you absolutely have to.

My firmware is completely different for my car, different hardware.

You posted that you have error shown on your radio about lighting, but having scanned the car no faults found.

I made a suggestion that your firmware in radio might have trouble, and we should check for any possible updates (and apply if needed)

 

 

For your car to have no faults found in scan by technician, but to see error in radio does not make sense.
The situation should not occur.

There maybe a reboot/reset process for the radio, and this might clear the fault it has found and stored?
