Has anyone got some ideas for a phone holder in the marked area?

 

I would not like to block/disable the vents, but perhaps stick a holder in some crevice. I could even 3d print the holder, but would like some suggestions for it.

And no other place is suitable. Only the center console area.

Hi, I realise this topic is from 2022.

Just like the OP, I'm looking for a phone holder that :

• Doesn't obscure any part of the windscreen, the dashboard screen or buttons, the infotainment screen or any window.

• Doesn't risk any damage to the air vents.

• Doesn't need to be permanently glued in order to be stable.

I found this perfect phone holder... for my wife's Renault Megane. Someone on the internet had the same requirements and 3D designed and printed his dream phone holder and was graceful enough to share his clever design with everyone, for free.

If someone could do the same for the Octavia Mk4 he would certainly make a bunch of happy people.

I just used a sat nav adhesive disc, it can be removed quite easily with some warm air if needed.

I've got a choice of two wireless chargers for a Galaxy S25 Ultra and both attach to the disc on a sucker, nice & stable. Just remember it's illegal to attach things to a windscreen that obscures lines of vision. So unlike the some of the clowns I've seen just recently don't put it above the binnacle directly in the line of vision! FFS. 🤦‍♂️
