Maybe in the market for a 4x4 estate – but are there any pitfalls?

Better grip in dry or wet/icy  conditions only if you are sensible, not had to drive in snow/ice as yet with the Superb, old Volvo it replaced (2006 D5 cross country0 was exceptional in snow, seen many a landrover sat spinning in a verge, also dependent very much on tyres. 

Better for towing a caravan especially  manoeuvring on damp grass etc.
