thanks peeps,,587D52F3-7E50-4D35-97CC-0AA74AF34357.thumb.jpeg.83f1aa68a327d4d37c0642d5c33dccc4.jpeg

You might be in luck, but you should really check against your VIN at dealer/TPS as this could be wrong part.

Here are the less than useful removal instructions that don't show the coupling, but often they don't anyway.

Year 2010/11 all use the same part, 3B0 955 875 A

You may wish to check if the snapped off part is still in the end of the water entry point still, as you won't be able to fit new one.

If there, you can probably pick it out, maybe a small self-tapping screw carefully screwed in a little will tease out the snapped off part if still embedded.

It’s the bit on the motor that’s snapped and the part you have a pic of is still intact (thankfully) the bit on the motor looks like it kinda clips in so wondered if it was interchangeable or I’d have to purchase a new motor with it on

thanks for your help though mate really appreciate it

The connector does appear to have Male connections at both ends?

Can you see any evidence of this inside the entry location where it should plug in?

Didn't want you to beat yourself up when you get new motor and find that you could have changed a cheap part.

The bit on the black part on the motor has a male fitting and that was in the boot lid, it fall out in the boot when I started popping the clips to remove the trim,, the white connector part on the pipe is a female connection, can’t really get a pic of it now as I’ve put it all back together but it looks like it’s a complete new motor judging by the diagram you showed me 🥲🤣

Could be, shame that it snapped.

this is what mine should look like on a new motor

Super glue and silicone RTV.

Did think of that but as there isn’t much surface area and the pressure I thought it would just pop back off again 🤣🤣

Super glue then epoxy.

On mine had a little crack on the pipe ( where was on that black plastic bit) and squirting out liquid looked easy job so just cut it off and now I can't  push the pipe back on to the connector because the pipe is so rigid, do not expand that much, tried to melting the pipe but with no success, so I cut off that melted part again, the pipe now getting shorter and shorter. Do you have any idea how should I try ?

@Ylla

Sleeve the hose with another suitable piece of hose.

Good idea, thanks

Morning peeps,;

bit the bullet and bought a new rear wiper motor,, check compatibly with numbers and with them and YES they say it fits,, so fitted last night and the arm now sweeps onto the boot lid,, no matter where I try n place the blade to start,, 🤬🤬,, is there something I’m missing,, 🤣,, will message them back regarding this but I’m buggered if I’m taking it off again 🤣

You should only need to "calibrate" the end point.

I would take off the wiper arm, and then get someone to do a flick wipe from inside the car, try your best to observe the stop point of maximum clockwise rotation and mark the thread if needed.

Repeat the flick wipe, and see if the mark or position you observed stops at 3 o'clock again.

Attach wiper arm, and take note of the measurements listed below, tighten up, repeat a single wipe.

Again gauge where it stops, and hopefully only a minor adjustment is needed.

You should not afaik need to remove the wiper motor, and I believe from reading documents, after 100 operations the motor will seemingly store end stop values.

Mate this motor practically wipes the spoiler as well 🤣🤣,, I’ll try as you have described but I’ve even got the stop/parked position lower than it was and it still wipers about 3” past the window onto the boot lid 🤣…

mill try get a video at dinner to show you 🤣

It does from your earlier decription and just now seem as if it wants to clean your number plate also.

Assuming motor was fitted ok, then should be good (if the part is indeed correct)

Total angle swept is also pre-set by the electronics in the wiper motor in the combi, so may be the same on the hatch.

If the replacement wiper motor is not the same part as previous, you may have your answer.

No.

Have you got part numbers off both parts?

If not when you do a tear down, grab them if possible.

Ok, had a look and rotated your original image

You needed at least A as matching yours, or the replacement C

At a guess, the swines removed the label, so you probably have one that's not A or C, which could explain the wide arc it takes
